Kansas City Networking Group

Wow! What an honor! I was asked to speak at the Principal Connections Networking Group! I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing reputation with my business contemporaries that i wAS asked to speak about social media and marketing to a group of networkers after just launching my business!

Shawn Kinkade, President ofAspire Business Development, and Brian Pauls, President of Per Aspera, teamed up with Marillac, a children’s charity in Kansas City to provide continuing education and networking for local business owners in the Metro area for 5 years. Currently the meetings are held at Bonefish Grill on the second Thursday of the month from 3 pm – 5 pm.  The cost to attend Principal Connections Networking Group meetings are $15, but get this…100% of the money collected goes to Marillac! Bonefish donates appetizers for the event, and all the money collected goes to help kids here in our area!

Integrity ResourceCenter For Businesses

I recently had the privilege of being invited to an Integrity Resource Center luncheon that had Dina Dwyer-Owens, CEO of the Dwyer Group as the keynote speaker. As many of you possibly know, Dina Dwyer-Owens was featured not that long ago on Undercover Boss where she literally went undercover as an employee instead of as CEO to several different stops among her 1600 franchise operation.

Dina has adopted a living RICH code of values at The Dwyer Group in which all employees are encouraged to practice in all work situations when possible.

At the Dwyer Group living RICH means….

  • Respect – Treat others as you want to be treated.
  • Integrity – Your word counts. Do what you say.
  • Customer Focus – Maximizing Customer Loyalty, Listening.
  • Having Fun in the Process!

It is simply good mktg to conduct your business with the utmost integrity. If you haven’t developed your own living RICH system, we would encourage you to take the time today to start developing your business’ integrity code by which you will conduct yourself. Transparency is very important in today's viral world of social media, and conducting your business by a moral code is the best strategy for developing it.
